How to earn money from chickens in Farming Simulator 22

First of all, you’ll need a flat surface to place your chicken coop. For that, you’ll have to buy a field and clear off all the weeds. When your field is clean and ready, you can buy your chicken coop from the Animal Pens section of the placeables.

In the beginning, you’ll probably be fine with a small chicken coop. Once you feel like it doesn’t fit your needs anymore, you can replace it with a bigger one anytime.

So, you’re ready, right? Go buy that small chicken coop and place it somewhere in your field. Once you’ve done it, it’s time to start raising some chickens!

The most common method to earn money from chickens in Farming Simulator 22 is to breed them until they give you eggs. Then you can sell those eggs and make some money.

How do you do that? Well, when your chicken coop is ready, visit the animal dealer and buy yourself some chickens. The amount of chickens you can buy depends on the amount of money you have. However, keep in mind that you can purchase them up to the limit of your Pen.

Your chickens will eat either wheat or barley. You can buy wheat and barley from the store and transport it over to your chicken coop by using any machinery that’s available to you. A good reliable tractor will do perfectly (and you probably have one already!). You’ll just need to attach a front loader to it.

If you have a small chicken coop, 1000 liters of food will be enough for the chickens. But once you buy a large coop, you’ll have to give them around 5000 liters of food to keep them alive and healthy.

You not only have to keep your chickens well fed, but their coop should also always be as clean as possible. If it’s clean, your chickens will be healthier, their productivity will increase, you’ll have more eggs, and, therefore, better profit!

When your chickens finally lay eggs, you can sell them in boxes. In order to transport them from the coop to the store, you can use either a pickup or a trailer. And then you’re ready to actually sell them.

Now, your chickens will probably reproduce, and you want to make sure the reproduction rate is as high as possible. To do that, I advise you to buy chickens of the same type (i.e., color). Naturally, if you ever wish to slow down the reproduction of chickens, you can simply replace some of them with different types of chickens.

You’ll have to farm your chickens for some time to find out what the reproduction rate at your coop is. Once you see the rate and statistics, you’ll be able to decide what you want to do with all the other chickens.
